Receiving

The meals are shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. Smaller orders may arrive partially thawed (especially during the summer months), and this is absolutely OK.  Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.  Upon receipt, place the meals in the freezer where they will keep for 6 months, or store in the refrigerator and consume within 5 days.

Tip:  Mark the containers with the date you received your order.

Thawing

We highly recommend that all meals are thawed under refrigeration for 24 hours prior to reheating.

These are not "frozen dinners", but real cuisine prepared by our chefs that have been cooked to perfection.  All you need to do is reheat them to your desired temperature.

 Oven Reheating

Preheat oven to 275.  Remove thawed meals from packaging, place into an oven-safe baking dish and put in the oven for 8-12 minutes for entrées and 5-7 minutes for sides.

 Microwave Reheating of Thawed Meals

Make a small slit in the packaging and place the meal in a microwave-safe container.  Most will take about 1 to 2 minutes to heat up in the microwave. If they are not heated to your preference, heat for an additional 15-30 seconds until heated to your desired temperature.

Soups should be poured into microwave-safe bowls and reheated for 3 minutes.  If it's not heated to your preference, heat for an additional 1 minute until heated to your desired temperature.

Allow the meal to sit for 1-2 minutes covered before serving.

For best results heat each meal separately, if you heat multiple meals at a time, re-heating times will be longer.

Microwave Reheating of Frozen Meals

Make a small slit in the packaging and place the meal in a microwave-safe container.  Using the 50% power level, heat your meal for 3 minutes, if applicable, stir or break up the meal if possible.  Then heat for 3 minutes at full power.  Check temperature, heat for 1 additional minute until the desired temperature is reached.

Allow the meal to sit for 1-2 minutes covered before serving.

For best results heat each meal separately, if you heat multiple meals at a time, re-heating times will be longer.

Stovetop Reheating

Remove meals from the container and place the entrée in a medium-size frying pan with 2-3 tablespoons of water and/or oil.  Cover tightly with a lid to heat through for 3 minutes. Remove entrée, wipe out the skillet and add the side dish to the same pan along with another 2-3 tablespoons of water and/or oil.  Reheat the side for 2-3 minutes to just heat through and serve.

CAUTION: In all instances, the product and containers may be hot!!
